Aimpoint COMPM4s - Lightly Used

Aimpoint Comp M4s

from: $59149

Details: Aimpoint COMPM4s. Model #12172. QRP2 Mount. Includes original box, manual, bikini-style lens covers, killflash, and battery.

Aimpoint’s Description: The Aimpoint CompM4s was designed for users who require a professional quality red dot optic for use under extremely harsh conditions. The CompM4s is currently used and trusted by top-tier end users throughout the free world. The U.S. Army has chosen a member of the Aimpoint CompM4 series of sights as their M68CCO (Close Combat Optic) for over two decades.

The CompM4s holds that status today, with over 100,000 sights currently in use by the U.S. Armed Forces. The CompM4s is powered by a single AA battery for over 80,000 hours (8 years) of continuous use and over 500,000 hours in the night vision settings. The CompM4s has a low battery compartment, and the CompM4™ has a high battery compartment.

The CompM4s comes with a rubber bikini lens cover and the killFlash® anti-reflection device (ARD) to prevent glint from the front lens in the heat of battle. The sight housing is constructed of hard-anodized aluminum alloy for optimal protection of the electronic and optical components in all types of environmental conditions.

The 2 MOA red dot pairs perfectly with the Aimpoint 3XMag-1™ magnifier and all generations of night vision devices. This sight configuration includes a spacer and QRP2 (Quick Release Picatinny) mount that attaches to MIL-STD-1913 rails with an easy detach mechanism and no additional tools.

Aimpoint red dot sights are operationally parallax-free, which means the visible dot remains parallel to the bore of your weapon no matter what angle your eye is in relation to the sight. Therefore, the user never has to worry about centering the dot inside the sight. If you have a proper zero, when the dot is on the target, so are you.

Aimpoint red dot sights increase confidence by allowing the shooter to focus on the target while keeping both eyes open, fully situationally aware at all times. Users can achieve first-round hits faster with greater confidence.

UNIQUE FEATURES

RKB Armory Opinion: There aren’t that many optics that can claim they are more battle-proven than the Comp M4s. This runs on one AA battery, and can run for over 8 years. This is bomb-proof.

Larue Tactical Angled CQB Mount for Aimpoint Micro LT724

Larue Tactical Angled CQB Mount for Aimpoint Micro LT724

$12160

Details: Lightly Used. Larue Tactical Q.D. Angled CQB Mount for Aimpoint Micro, LT724. Includes original package, adjustment wrench, mounting screws, and locktite.

Larue Tactical’s Description:
Engage closer targets with ease and confidence.
Magnified scopes are great for distance targets, but are slow and awkward when engaging targets close-in. When used in combination with a magnified scope, the LT-724 positions the excellent Aimpoint T-1 off to the side, so you’ll have all the benefits of a red-dot simply by rotating the rifle a few degrees for rapid transition to close-range targets. Not only is the LT-724 essential kit for MIL/LE, it’s ideal for 3 gunners.

The LT-724 was initially designed to fit on the upper receiver in front of a Trijicon ACOG without the need for a railed handguard (note: a standard rear BUIS may not fit with the LT100 and LT724 combination). The LT-724 is also widely-used on freefloat and continuous-railed handguards in combination with any scope with side turrets shallower than ½” in length, like Trijicon Accupoints, Burris XTR, Leupold CQ/T, Leupold Mark 4 w/ M2 turrets, etc. (Note: The LT724 will not fit underneath the LT104 extension)

RKB Armory’s Opinion: This is a solid, easily removable mount for an offset red dot. If you’re using an offset red dot, you know you can afford this. You’re not fooling anyone. 🙂

OVERVIEW

First introduced in 2000, nearly 300.000 CompM2 sights are now in use by many Armed Forces including elite Special Forces worldwide.

The CompM2, also known as the M68/CCO (when used by U.S. forces), is the standard sight for the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and the armed forces of many NATO countries.

The CompM2 is ready for use around the clock due to its compatibility with all generations of night vision devices (NVD)

When the CompM2 was released, it became the benchmark against which all other combat optics are measured. While primarily utilized by armed forces, the CompM2 is also available to hunters and sport shooters who want a professional-grade sight.

Holds up under the roughest physical handling and can withstand the most severe weather conditions and temperatures

Completely submersible and will withstand pressures up to 2.5 atmospheres allowing it to be taken up to 80 feet (25 meters) underwater.

Discontinued 2012

Launched 2000

UNIQUE FEATURES

  • Compatible with every generation of NVD

RKB Armory’s Opinion: This optic is still excellent, even though it has been discontinued. If there’s a difference between this and the very popular Aimpoint PRO, I can’t find it. This also includes a perfectly good mount, but would pair perfectly with a LaRue LT129 or LT150.

Aimpoint CompM4

from: $57399

Details: Aimpoint CompM4. Model #11972. Includes kill flash, flip-up lens caps, battery, and original QRP2 mount and spacer. Does not include the original box or manual.

Aimpoint’s Description: The Aimpoint CompM4 was designed for users who require a professional quality red dot optic for use under extremely harsh conditions. The CompM4 is currently used and trusted by top-tier end users throughout the free world. The U.S. Army has chosen a member of the Aimpoint CompM4 series of sights as their M68CCO (Close Combat Optic) for over two decades. The brother to CompM4 – the CompM4s – holds that status today, with over 100,000 sights currently used by the U.S. Armed Forces.

The difference between the two sights is the battery compartment placement – the CompM4 has a high battery compartment, and the CompM4s™ has a low battery compartment. The CompM4 is powered by a single AA battery for over 80,000 hours (8 years) of continuous use and over 500,000 hours in the night vision settings.

The CompM4 comes with a rubber bikini lens cover and the killFlash® anti-reflection device (ARD) to prevent glint from the front lens in the heat of battle. RKB Armory’s Opinion: This is an Aimpoint, which speaks volumes. It also comes with flip up lens caps and a killflash, rather than the bikini-style lens cover of other versions.

Aimpoint 6XMag 1 Magnifier with Flipmount and Twistmount Base

Aimpoint 6XMag-1 Magnifier w/ Flipmount and Twistmount Base

from: $62280

6XMag-1 in Flipmount with Twistmount Base in matching 39mm height of optical Axis, also known as lower ⅓ co-witness. This magnifier is very lightly used, but there is no box, manual, or accessories, so it is listed as, “Well Used.”

Aimpoint’s Description: “The Aimpoint® 6XMag-1 was specifically designed for use with Aimpoint® Micro T-2, Aimpoint® Micro H-2 and Aimpoint® CompM5 red dot sights. This module gives professional users enhanced capability for long-range aiming and observation. A variable (-3 to +3) dioptric setting allows the magnifier to be adapted to the individual operator’s eye.”

RKB Armory’s Opinion: “This would make a great competitor (when combined with a red-dot) against an LPVO because you have the ability to quickly add 6x magnification when needed. You can even quickly and easily remove the magnifier because of Aimpoint’s ingenious twistmount base, or you can tilt the magnifier out of the way, but still on the rifle. This is a very high-quality combination, when combined with your red-dot.”

RS Regulate Mount for AKM with Aimpoint Micro

RS Regulate Mount for AKM (Aimpoint Micro Footprint Optics)

$15000

Used RS Regulate AK-301M Front Biased Lower Optic Mount with AKML Aimpoint Micro Upper Mount. Fits common AKM type rifles with optic mounting rail on the side. No box or manual. Includes allen wrench.

RS Regulate’s Description:
Front Biased Lower Mount
Common Usage: AKM Type rifles (Russian, Bulgarian and other AKM pattern rifles)

Aimpoint Micro Upper Mount
Common Usage: Aimpoint Micro and clone optics with removable base

RKB Armory’s Opinion: “RS Regulate is the top-dog in mounting optics to an AK. However, they’re not cheap. When you see how light and well-designed this is, the price makes sense. This is perfect for mounting an optic with the Aimpoint Micro footprint to an AKM with a side rail. The upper optic mount can be changed for a different optic.”

Aimpoint-Micro-T-1-and-Daniel-Defense-Mount

Aimpoint Micro T-1 on Daniel Defense Mount

from: $47000

Aimpoint Micro T-1. Includes bikini lens covers. No box or manual. Would be labeled, “Lightly Used,” but because there is no box, it is being sold as, “Well Used.” Daniel Defense Micro Mount includes a spacer that allows for absolute or lower one-third height.

OVERVIEW
No matter what your mission, the size and weight of your equipment is a critical factor. With the Aimpoint® Micro T-1, Aimpoint has introduced an aiming system that provides the performance of our full-sized sights in a small package.

Since its introduction in 2007, the Aimpoint® Micro T-1 has become very popular worldwide due to its size, light weight and robust build quality.”

RKB Armory Opinion:  “The Aimpoint Micro T-1 (and H-1) are a great deal now that the T-2 and H-2 have replaced them. This is a fantastic combination of size, weight, and durability.”
